SAFERUP! was among the H2020 MSCA projects that had the chance to showcase their work during the AAAS Annual Meeting! Cesare Sangiorgi (Università di Bologna), Viveca Wallqvist (Research Institutes of Sweden) and Daniel Castro Fresno (Universidad de Cantabria) were interacting with the audience to explain some of the ongoing research work of the SAFERUP! project. In particular, the Hi-FASP and ProtectVU projects were presented during the Urban Paving is Going Places session that saw the joint collaboration with SMARTIETN project. Among the number of visitors from all over the world, the SAFERUP! stand raised the interest of Jean-Eric Paquet (DG of R&I), Mauro Ferrari (President of the European Research Council) and Alessandra Luchetti (Head of European Commission REA Department on Excellent Science).
