n the new episode of #ASIATALKS, we present the valuable collaboration between our association and the student community. Throughout 2025, we made our spaces and resources available to support the development of initiatives designed to meet their interests. The activities carried out this year represent the result of a broader commitment aimed at building a solid community and expanding the range of our initiatives. We spoke with Clara and Marta, who shared their experiences and described the projects developed over the course of the year. This is a highly meaningful journey for us, and we hope to strengthen it over time, involving an increasing number of people.

#ASIATALKS: ROK-EU Strategic Dialogue: II Edition

In this new episode of Asia Talks, we take you inside the second edition of the ROK–EU Strategic Dialogue, an annual event launched in 2024 and jointly organized by the Korea Institute for National Unification (KINU) and the Asia Institute. This year’s theme, “New Challenges on the Korean Peninsula and Beyond: Mapping Perceptions through the Global Unification Survey,” comes at a time when the specter of war has re-emerged, involving nuclear-armed actors and reminding us that the Peninsula’s security is a global concern. To explore these issues further, we spoke with Dr. Sangsin Lee, Senior Research Fellow at KINU, about his experience at the Dialogue, the importance of initiatives like this, and KINU’s key role in advancing research, dialogue, and strategy.

#ASIATALKS: “Asia Institute” Award for Master’s Thesis. Interview with the winner of the 2nd edition

In this new episode of #ASIATALKS, we present the “Asia Institute” Award for Master’s Theses, established in 2023 with the aim of promoting research and studies on the Asian continent from historical, socio-political, and cultural perspectives. This year, we have launched the third edition of the call for submissions, which will close on September 15! To promote it, we decided to interview the winner of last year’s edition, who told us about her thesis work and explained why it’s worth applying for our award.
