This project aims to significantly reduce the use of plastic bottles by the Community of the University of Bologna. In addition to creating a considerable amount of waste, the production of plastic bottles generates large quantities of CO2. The aim is therefore to encourage individuals to use their own stainless steel bottles, which can be refilled free of charge at water dispensers distributed around the various University districts, which dispense still and sparkling filtered water directly from the water supply network.
