"Disco-Polo" is a Polish genre of pop music. It was invented in the 1990s and it is still popular in Poland and associated with politics. Prof. Leszek Koczanowicz will analyze their concept of nation and also the question of the place of women in society, focusing on the presence of conservative perspectives and thus on the clash with modernist views on the same subject.
