Why a photo contest?
The Almae Matris Alumni Association is launching the ‘Alumni Photo Contest: photos of my university memories’, inviting students and graduates of the Alma Mater to participate. The initiative aims to involve Alumni and make them feel part of the community, through the sharing of pictures that tell the most significant moments of their university experience.
Who can participate?
The competition is open to graduates and students, including Erasmus students who have completed their mobility course at the University of Bologna and are members of the Almae Matris Alumni Association. Registration is completely free of charge and requires just a few steps. If you have not already done so, register here.
How to participate?
Participants can send up to two photographs representing significant moments of their experience at Unibo: from the exam session to the graduation ceremony, from the symbolic places of the departments to convivial moments. The pictures must be uploaded by filling in the online form or by e-mail to alumni@unibo.it, by 31 January 2025. Each photo must be accompanied by a title and, if possible, an indication of where it was taken.
Characteristics of the photographs
Images must be in good or high definition, in black and white or colour. It is important that they have not been awarded in other competitions and that they do not contain recognisable marks of the author, such as watermarks or signatures.
Prize
The winner of the contest will receive a T-shirt with the logo of the University of Bologna from the UniboStore collection. The award ceremony will take place on 3 February 2025, with the possibility of collecting the prize in person or receiving it by post.
Selection and publication
The selected photographs will be published on the Almae Matris Alumni social platform and on the Association's official website. The pictures will be evaluated on the basis of relevance to the theme and originality.

Publication of the winner: 3 February 2025
