Reprint of Luigi Maria Ugolini's "Butrinto. Il mito d'Enea. Gli scavi"

After the presentation in June 2024 of the project of reprinting in Italian and Albanian the popular book written by Luigi Maria Ugolini (1937) to narrate the events related to the discovery of Butrint, its first excavations and history, now comes the publication of the Italian-language volume.
This reprint comes as a result of the collaboration between the Butrint Project and the Italian Cultural Institute in Tirana, with the sponsorship of the Rotta di Enea association and the contribution of the University of Bologna.
The volume, published by Edizioni Quasar (Rome) and edited by Federica Carbotti, features a preface by the Italian Ambassador in Albania Fabrizio Bucci, a foreword by the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute Alessandro Ruggera and a contribution by the directors of the Italian-Albanian Archaeological Mission in Butrint Enrico Giorgi and Belisa Muka.
The book is available for purchase on Edizioni Quasar website
