14.45 PRESENTATION OF THE WORKSHOP

The objective of the workshop is an interdisciplinary discussion on the interrelated themes of the Handbook, i.e., Entropy, Complexity and Spatial Dynamics, based on Research Questions, such as:

What is the current state of research on complexity and spatial dynamics, including the role of entropy in this regard? Are there conceptual, theoretical, and methodological advances ‒ complementary or alternative to entropy ‒ that can provide new insights and research directions in complexity and spatial dynamics?
