UniBoAT among more than 800 industry professionals at We Make Future! 2026

We Make Future! is an annual event designed to share innovation projects based specifically within the Tech, AI and Digital sectors. Spanning 3 days from 24th to 26th June, the 2026 edition was bigger and better than previous years: boasting over 1000 speakers from all over the world, more than 800 exhibitors, and research centres from 90 countries. The event is future-focused, looking forward to how the world can become more sustainable, inclusive and equitable thanks to AI, Tech and Digital technologies.

UniBoAT was one of these 800+ exhibitors, joined by the University of Bologna’s Motorsport and Aurora Rocketry teams, presenting our catamaran prototype – specifically our Competr Electric Outboard Motor, for which UniBoAT was awarded the Prince Albert II Award at the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge last year.

We were delighted to share our project and expertise with interested parties that ranged from startups to investors, companies to professionals, all sharing the same passion for innovation.

We were also able to share our YouTube challenge video for the Communication Prize to the public for the first time since our Unveiling, which was also incredibly exciting. Hearing the feedback, ideas and advice from so many inspiring industry professionals has fuelled us to continue seeking potential opportunities, as well as sharing our vision and dedication to sustainability with new audiences.
