Driven by the needs of the Hydrogen, Structures, and Fluid Dynamics departments, Futura’s entire shape has been redefined.
The cockpit, now crafted from composites utilizing thermosetting resins and flax fibers, achieves significant weight savings while demonstrating a greater commitment to environmental impact during production and modification. Additionally, for the first time, we've fully integrated modular air intakes and vanes to ensure optimal airflow to the fuel cell, maintaining peak performance while reducing air exposure trough the different powertrain configurations.
This cockpit redesign has also allowed us to address critical aspects related to pilot ergonomics. The new version provides enhanced protection from airflow and greater comfort during operation. The ergonomics between the seat and steering wheel have been entirely re-evaluated to best comply with the Monaco Energy Boat Challenge regulations, ensuring optimal visibility, comfort, lightness, and system integration. What were previously separate modules externally integrated into the pilot's cell are now seamlessly integrated, improving both the vehicle's aerodynamics and its visual appeal.
Thank you to everyone who made time to attend, who supported us quietly but meaningfully, and who continues to believe in the direction we’re heading. Your presence, your support, and your enthusiasm made this moment even more special.
We’re proud of what we’ve built—but even more excited about what lies ahead. Because this isn’t a finish line. It’s just the beginning of a brand-new journey.
