The “Voci di Scienza, Voci di Donna” award, promoted by Radio Parlamentare – Percorso Consapevole for International Women’s Day, honors women scientists whose research advances knowledge and contributes to society’s cultural and civic growth. It celebrates both scientific excellence and the role of women in science, while encouraging reflection on what it means to be a woman in research today.
The Laura Bassi Award is presented by the Italian Physical Society, sponsor of the Equal Opportunities Committee, to recognize female talent and promote the presence of women in science. She earned a Master's degree in Physics and, after five years, distinguished herself at various stages of her career: early career and mid/full career.
