I-CARE

Together for the communication of Ravenna's cultural heritage at risk

"I-CARE: Together for the communication of Ravenna's cultural heritage at risk" is the proposal we have designed for students of High Schools in the province of Ravenna. The general purpose of the course is to involve the participants in the design of original dissemination campaigns about cultural heritage at risk.

Followed by SIRIUS team, the participants  learn how to create a specific contents to address the Community, combining information and scientific data on preventive conservation of the Cultural Heritage at risk.

I-CARE is part of transversal and orientation path (PCTO) and intervenes on the following specific issues:

  • Foster civic values ​​to young citizens,
  • Provide the participants with conceptual tools for recognize risk agents and potential risks for cultural and natural heritage,
  • Promote an active role of the participants in preservation of cultural heritage and risk's mitigation process,
  • Promote knowledge and awareness of the UN 2030 Agenda and, in particular, Goals 11 (Sustainable cities and communities) and 13 (Fight against climate change).

 

The course  is delivered in Italian and  takes place in presence for 10 participants (single shift), combining a theoretical part (15 hours) and a laboratory activity (30 hours).
