OCCHIO AL RISCHIO!

"Occhio al rischio! Un percorso educativo per giovani cittadini" (Beware of the risk! An education route for young citizens) is a didactic activity designed for the pupils of Primary Schools in the Municipality of Ravenna, promoting general knowledge about cultural and natural heritage at risk.

Starting from the identification of risk agents, to understanding the negative effects of risks on the population and cultural and natural heritage, the young participants are guided in a learning journey on the most appropriate behaviours to adopt for monitoring, protection and safeguarding in emergency situations. 

The course is composed by co-participated teaching activities and educational games (for a total amount of 11 hours), in which the participants familiarize with terminology, causes and effects that atmospheric events and wrong human behaviour can generate on the testimonies of our past.

The path includes:

- 3 learning phases (KNOW; EVALUATE; ACT), each characterized by 2 meetings lasting about 2 hours,

- a final meeting lasting about 3 hours, in which the pupils  play to a dedicated version of “Riskland”, a didactic game promoted by UNISDR and UNICEF and focused on prevention and reduction of risks.

"Occhio al rischio! Un percorso educativo per giovani cittadini" (Beware of the risk! An education route for young citizens) is an opportunity offered to all the participants and has been included in the PAFT (Plan of Educational Enrichment of the Territory), promoted by the Municipality of Ravenna.

 The activities will be conducted in Italian.
