The International PhD College (I-PHD) is a 3rd cycle academic and research track, organised by the Collegio Superiore complementary to the University's PhD programmes, which welcomes Italian and international PhD students. The PhD students who join the I-PHD College complement the research activities envisaged by their PhD tracks with interdisciplinary 'coworking' activities.
Upon completion of the activities carried out during the three-year PhD programmes (for PhD programmes lasting four years, the track is in any case completed at the end of the third year), the students of the I-PHD College must present at least one product or activity of science and knowledge dissemination, aimed at bringing a contribution to civil society.
Each student of the I-PHD College will be supported by a University professor, acting as a Tutor, coming from a different disciplinary area from their own, who will support them in their research activities and in the identification and realisation of initiatives or products for a return to the community and civil society. PhD students will also actively participate in meetings, initiatives and projects organised by the Collegio Superiore.
