Regulation and deadlines for international mobility

Procedures, deadlines and information for students wishing to participate in exchange programmes at the Collegio.

In order to submit an application, the application form for the school of interest must be sent to the Director of the Collegio Superiore, Cc'ing the Secretariat, together with an up-to-date CV highlighting language skills, and a letter from your tutor confirming the purpose of the exchange.

Each candidate will receive an email confirming the reception of the documentation: if this is not received, the application should be re-sent. The Director, together with the teaching component of the Exchange and Mobility Commission, will proceed with the selection of the collegiates on the basis of the number of places available at the host institution and the following elements and priorities:

  • those who have not already benefited from an exchange at the ENS site for which they are applying (Paris or Lyon);
  • those enrolled in years following the first year of a Bachelor’s degree programme or a single-cycle Degree programme;
  • coherence and quality of the exchange with the College pathway;
  • motivational letter;
  • letter of support from tutor;
  • curriculum vitae.

Depending on the length of the stay and in order to meet the requirements for staying at the Collegio Superiore, it will be necessary to replace the educational activities provided for in the College's teaching plan with other activities held at the host school.

Deadlines

  • Applications for the first semester must be submitted by the 26 of February of the same year.
  • Applications for the second semester must be submitted by the 30th of September of the previous year.

Students are invited to contact the Secretariat for more specific information on the procedure to follow in order to submit an application. We would also like to remind you that the requirements requested by the institutions offering exchanges may differ in terms of language skills, year of enrolment on courses, forms to be submitted etc.

Please note
Practical matters (room number, notification of arrival and departure dates, flight tickets, choice of courses, certification of exams taken etc.) must be handled directly by the students, who must also follow any instructions given by the schools concerned and published in their respective sections.
