One of the fundamental objectives of the project is to promote innovation in technological development in the vertical farming sector, which is rapidly evolving today, allowing Italian small and medium-sized enterprises to acquire an important competitive role on the international market.
With the aim of creating a strong link between research and innovation, for a rapid diffusion of the developed technologies, VFarm will promote Italian scientific excellence, cooperation between research, businesses and civil society, transferring knowledge also through the organization of open workshops to the public.
