**THE 2021 EDITION OF THE SUMMER SCHOOL WILL BE HELD ONLINE**

  

At te end of the Summer Shool, students may choose to turn in a 3,000-5,000 word-long paper before July 31, 2021, where they lay out a detailed research plan (references, if any, not included in word count).

Students turning in a paper will be issued a Diploma of Completion for 125 hours (the paper is assumed to take ca. 50 hours) if it is assessed as good by two school instructors. 

A selection of the best papers will be published in the MC2 Lab website, as part of the record of the Summer School, class of 2021.

Students who choose not to turn in a paper will be mailed a Certificate of Attendance for 75 hours in August 2021.

Full attendance is required to be issued either the Certificate or the Diploma.

Additionally, Summer School students may voluntarily turn their paper into a poster and present it to the ICTIC 3 Conference, to be held in Forlì on 2-5 November 2021. Summer School students will be able to register to the conference for free, and conference attendees will vote for the best poster, which will be awarded a prize of 1,000.00 €. Again, the winner and the closest runners-up will be published online on the MC2 Lab's website.
