This website is the result of years of field research in the Samarkand province, carried out by a diverse group of contributors with different backgrounds and areas of expertise, all united by a common goal: to share the richness of Uzbekistan, and especially of the Samarkand oasis, by complementing its well-known tourist routes with alternative thematic itineraries.
