The Universidad de Chile (UChile) is the main and oldest institution of Cile and among the best 400 universities in the world, with 20 presidents of Chile as former student. It has the largest number of students (42,000) followed by an academic staff of excellence. UChile, with its 192 National Awards, is the main university for basic and applied research, with high productivity in the scientific field and in artistic and cultural creation. It is a particularly active partner from a scientific and educational point of view also in the Agroecology sector. There are several projects and publications in collaboration with the AgroEcology group of reference and the Coordinator, Professor Adamo Domenico Rombolà, of UNIBO. Among the teachers who are part of the network, Professor Covarrubias completed his PhD at UNIBO.
