We are proud to announce our group won the prestigious call FISR - 2019 (Fondo integrativo speciale per la ricerca) among more than hundreds of proposals. The investment is intended to finance specific interventions of particular strategic importance. The financed two-year project, named PROLEISH, will be developed counting on three strategic partners: UNIBO, CNR and Istituto Superiore di Sanità.

The Editors of the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry (JMC) and ACS Medicinal Chemistry Letters (MCL) are proud to share the release of their first special issue dedicated to “Women in Medicinal Chemistry.” Over the past several years, there has been a heightened awareness of the importance of attracting and retaining women in the field of medicinal chemistry, as well as supporting and developing their careers.
Thanks to the received funding, Dr. Olimpia Meucci and Dr. Renato Brandimarti have launched the first exchange project titled ‘The outlooking scientist’. The grant supports a visit of four graduate students (two from each institution) to their respective academic partners. Our group member, Claudia Albertini, is now spending a month in Philadelphia at Drexel University as a UNIBO ambassador.
