BEATRICE GIROTTI

Beatrice Girotti and Maria Elena De Luna (Ancient History), Maria Teresa Guerrini (Modern Sciences and scientific director of MEUS – European Museum of Students at the SMA – University Museum System), Francesca Roversi Monaco (Medieval Studies), the delegate for teaching of the Department and president of the Department's Teaching Commission, are part of the Teaching Team in History, which has been running training workshops for teachers since 2018, preparatory to a subsequent unified project. These workshops were conceived jointly by the DiSCi sections: once a common topic was identified on an annual basis, the various sections proposed specific variations based on the specialties of the involved faculty. The most recent topic of the Ancient History section addresses the geographical and cultural dynamics of travel, part of a crucial theme in the historiographical studies of the ancient world (https://eventi.unibo.it/laboratorio-mondoantico). The Medieval Studies section has tackled several thematic cores of particular significance even in the contemporary context: the medieval city, the female role in the Middle Ages, the environment in the Middle Ages, providing teachers with relevant educational and bibliographic material (https://eventi.unibo.it/seminari-ambiente-medioevo-disci). The Modern Sciences section has recently developed a seminar-based training proposal focused on the conflict between the modern era and the contemporary world (https://eventi.unibo.it/formazione-docenti-scuole-secondarie).
