Call for Startups & Call for Ideas is the University of Bologna's call for proposals that selects emerging or already established entrepreneurial projects.

Presentation of Call for Startups & Call for Ideas 2025/2026

10 December 2025 at 4.30 p.m.

Don't miss the presentation of Call for Startup & Call for Ideas, which will be held on 10 December 2025 at 4.30 p.m., both in person at Via Ugo Foscolo 7 and online (held in italian). It will be followed by a talk on entrepreneurship and innovation given by Professor Laura Toschi, President of Almacube and Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management at the University of Bologna. We invite you to register here.

What's on offer

The Call for Startups & Call for Ideas selects the best business projects from students and graduates of the University of Bologna. Being selected gives you access to a pathway for acquiring strategic knowledge and skills, both in the world of work and for developing an entrepreneurial project. You will be supported through training, mentoring, financial advantages, spaces and equipment that you can use to develop your idea.

Participation in the training course will be recognised in the Diploma Supplement.

How to Participate

 CALL FOR STARTUP & CALL FOR IDEAS 2025/2026 WILL BE AVAILABLE IN EARLY DECEMBER.

The call encompasses two categories:

1. Call for Ideas - Emerging Ideas: selecting the best project ideas, even those at a very early stage of development, and accompanies them along a path of growth;
2. Call for Startup - Established Startups: selecting the best-established companies that will have reserved space during the StartUp Day event.
