This page contains the final results of FACILEX.
The platform offers free access to legal information and customised legal assessment in the field of judicial cooperation in criminal matters.
It provides a broad database of EU national legislation and case-law (LEGAL Database) and automated legal advice functionalities (ADVISORY Module), aimed at supporting legal professionals in cross-border proceedings.
By tailoring legal knowledge to achieve accurate decision-making, these functionalities help users to assess the level of compliance of national instruments concerning procedural rights of persons suspected or accused of crimes with the EU acquis and how the three most relevant mutual recognition mechanisms (EIO, EAW and Reg. 1805) are implemented and applied in different Member States.
