Food Supply Chain Center Objectives

The Food Supply Chain Center is a research and industrial innovation hub dedicated to the agri-food sector. Based within the Department of Industrial Engineering, the center pursues several objectives: supporting industrial decision-making processes through data-driven analytical tools; promoting the dissemination of the latest scientific innovations in environmental and social sustainability, circular economy, and technological innovation; and actively engaging the wider public, university students, and young researchers in educational and training activities. Its ultimate goal is to foster a rigorous, sustainability-driven, data-oriented culture applied to the agri-food sector.
