From the year 2006, the SportComLab of the "Alma Mater" collected data and spread knowledge about sports and physical activities in Italy and Europe. The main projects were led about the following topics:
1. The Italian audiences of Mega Sporting Events, such Olympic Games, Paralympics, and International Football Championships (2000-2016): they were studied by Auditel data analysis;
2. Health, wellness and well-being;
3. The movement practices and the social policies for health and wellness of the population in Italy and other European Countries;
4. Family, alimentary lifestyles and children's movement practices;
5. Body and sport: fashion, consumption, new addictions;
6. Body education in East and West Europe;
7. Sports associations, volunteering, citizenship;
8. Sport and religion;
9. Sport and migration.
