Documents and Resources

What are university resources if not research and scientific studies? This is a section that has as its basis the research, the research done by the students in person, during the course of their studies, and the results obtained by the most experienced researchers.
But what is research and what does it allow us to do?
Research is an activity that aims to increase the knowledge we have of reality - in this case, the world of sport and physical activity. The researcher aims to verify the correspondence of theories and hypotheses to reality, and so, through the knowledge acquired, he hopes to be able to intervene on reality itself to improve it. The Sport and Health Sciences, in particular, increase our knowledge of the many aspects (bio-medical, technical-sporting and social) of motor practices and, if possible, put them at the service of man and the good common.
Within this broad view we better understand the goal, for which this section was created.
By clicking on the title of the section, it will be possible to discover important information on studies in the field of physical practices, developed by the students of the University of Bologna -'AMS '.
You will have the jobs of those who graduated in Sociological subjects not only at the Degree Courses in Motor Sciences - for example the work of Michelangelo Damicis on "Tourism and sport" - but also at other CdS of the "Alma Mater" - for example that of Erica Polini (Lettere e Filosofia) on "Social communication and sport".
These are just two of the most recent theses; and other studies will be added soon. They will be presented so that all sports-loving students can receive stimuli and discover new themes and horizons, thanks to the Sociology of Sport and Communication. If you prefer, you can also take inspiration for your university study paths; but without copying ... also because it is more correct to quote, and moreover it makes itself look good! (it shows, in fact, that he has read a lot!).
In other words, here there are available to all theses and dissertations as useful examples to be encouraged and encouraged to enter the fascinating and vast field of study, constituted by motor practices. This section was conceived as a sort of free encyclopedia to access, to discover more and more about sport and social communication. It can also represent a newspaper in the newspaper, a scientific section within a sports editorial office, as will also be the AlmaMater's SportComLab. In fact, if we went to read the entire page we would have an overview of the sports world much larger than what we are usually used to, reading a sports newspaper or watching TV or the internet. Interact and create questions in the reader: this proposes to make the material collected here. In short, scientific research produces results, which are a resource for all, a social good to spread and know how to exploit.

Now it's up to you: good discovery! 😊
