Vision

 PROJECT OBJECTIVES:

•  Development and establishment of new teaching activities in Korean Studies for BA and MA students and specific supervising programs for BA, MA and PhD students at UNIBO.
•  Enhancement of the research skills of students and researchers in Korean Studies and creation of the Korea Center at the University of Bologna, as a hub for innovative research, promotion of collaboration between researchers at the university and other international actors in Korean Studies, promotion of student-oriented activities related to Korea 
• Training a new generation of undergraduate and graduate students in Korean Studies through specific programs of mentorship and scholarships
• Creation of a collaborative long-lasting transnational platform on Korean Studies in Europe and between Italy and Korea, delivering innovative teaching and research strategies.
• Strengthening the research profile in Korean Studies of the University through high level publications and joint interdisciplinary projects in specific fields such as Contemporary Korean cultural production, Korean media and performative arts and their impacts on Contemporary Korean politics, society and international relations
