SOKEN 2022 CONFERENCE

As part of the SEED Project, the SoKEN 2022 Annual Conference (Social Sciences Korean Studies European Network) will be held at the University of Bologna, with the support of the Academy of Korean Studies through the Korean Studies Promotion Service, and in collaboration with the Asia Institute.

In recent years, the SoKEN network has gained importance in connecting scholars in several European universities specializing in Korean Studies in the disciplines of Social Sciences.

The University of Bologna organizes the next SoKEN Annual Conference that will take place on 5-6 MAY 2022, days during which, in addition to share and discuss relevant academic research in the field of Social Sciences, the SoKEN network will formulate a more structured and long-term collaboration among scholars.

This conference represents a key opportunity to improve networking among European academic institutions in Korean Studies and to position the University of Bologna as a central actor in this process.
