Final Exam FishMed-PhD 38th cycle

The fifth FishMed-PhD cycle ended on Friday, March 20th, 2026. The scientific committee proclaimed 9 new doctors, who distinguished themselves for their innovative and interdisciplinary research aimed at evaluating the state of health of the marine environment: from bioplastics and marine microbial biodiversity to fisheries management and sustainable aquaculture, including microbiome-based bioprocesses, ecosystem monitoring through geolocation and acoustic tools, ecosystem services valuation, and environmental impact studies on marine organisms.
