Why
We are located in in close proximity to the petrochemical area and of the port of Ravenna in the north-east of the country with a strong vocation for agri-food and renewable energies. This is our knowledge triangle to support the ecological transition.
What
We place ourselves as a center for the acceleration of solutions for:
- the removal of carbon from the atmosphere (carbon removal) mainly through carbon capture and storage via pyrolysis (PyCCS)
- the recovery of nutrients and the use of second generation carbon based materials
- the recovery of critical raw materials
- the improvement of soil health
We develop new materials, propose new industrial processes and study the phenomena in order to certify their effects.
