Design Culture Symposium 2021

Design Culture Symposium (DCS) is a conference interested in promoting a dialogue between design culture and strategic design. On a once a year basis, every edition focuses on relevant themes or areas of knowledge in Design which are developed by researchers from Artefato Lab (Research Group for Strategic Design and Design Culture at UNISINOS).

In this 4th edition of the Design Culture Symposium our focus will be on the Product-Service System (PSS). One of the pilars of Strategic Design discussions, PSS suggests a holistic and interdependent vision of everything that is designed, raising questions such as:

-What is the researcher's view of the product-service system?
-Why projects and research involving this concept can be seen from a systemic view of the world?
-What relationships between PSS and sustainability can be discussed?
-What is the impact of PSS projects on organizations?

We invite the academic community in Brazil and abroad to present works directly related to PSS theme. The event will privilege the discussion about the Product-Service System, accepting articles that may, among other reflections, address issues such as those aforementioned and beyond.
