A detailed management plan for the project's activities has been developed to facilitate the smooth and organized achievement of the objectives.

A report was drafted and shared with stakeholders in the supply chain, outlining the scenarios and case studies covered by the project, the samples, metadata, and big data to be collected, as well as the related procedures and timelines for data acquisition. Specific SOPs were also developed to standardize the collection of samples and data at the various sampling sites.

A Data Management Plan (DMP) structured and organized to allow for periodic updates through the end of the project, with the aim of ensuring the proper recording, implementation, and security of the dataset that will be built during the project to guarantee its scalability and reusability in future national and international projects. The DMP is regularly updated on the ARGOS (https://argos.openaire.eu/home) OpenAIRE platform, which is specifically designed for managing data structures. The DMP is linked to ZENODO (https://zenodo.org/), an open-source repository funded by the European Commission, so that once the DMP is complete, the data can be stored in this repository.
