PRIN UNITE is aimed at investigating the benefits of chatbots – artificial intelligence-based dialogue systems – in the field of EFL (English as a foreign language) teaching and learning. More specifically, the project is focused on investigating the extent to which chatbots are accessible and inclusive tools, able to provide support to students with and without a vast range of sensory disabilities and specific learning disorders (SLDs).
Go to pageThe logo of UNITE features two blue circles intersecting, symbolizing unity, connection and inclusion. UNITE circles are two separate units able to come together and to fruitfully cooperate, bringing to life an in-between space in which inclusion and equity can be discussed.
On top of that, our logo calls to mind the mathematical concept of intersection, the lifeblood of UNITE, a project in which people work together and make their own contribution to build a space of inclusivity and diversity. Lastly, in keeping with our core values, the UNITE logo is simple, clear and easy to read.
