I'M COMING TOO!
For a knowledge without barriers

Cycle of initiatives organised for the 2024 spring-summer by the Department of Cultural Heritage of the University of Bologna in collaboration with Libraries  and Museums of the Romagna area. Some of these meetings will deal specifically with the protection of cultural heritage in emergency situations and will also involve representatives of our project.

In particular, the most interesting events for our project are:

• 20 April 2024, 4.30 p.m., at the Art Museum of the City of Ravenna (MAR), the presentation of the book "FAI PER BENE. Come è stato possibile recuperare 1800 opere d'arte dopo l'alluvione al Museo Tramonti di Faenza"*, by M. Tramonti (Faenza, 2024);
• 3 May 2024, 5.15 p.m., at the ‘F. Trisi' in Lugo, a meeting entitled “Curare la cultura: beni culturali tra salvaguardia e recupero” **. The initiative will specifically discuss the interventions implemented by some lecturers and students of the Department of Cultural Heritage on the library assets damaged by last May's flood;
• 18 May 2024, 5 p.m., at the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza (MIC), the presentation of the book "FAI PER BENE. Come è stato possibile recuperare 1800 opere d'arte dopo l'alluvione al Museo Tramonti di Faenza" *, by M. Tramonti (Faenza, 2024);
• 28 May 2024, 6.30 p.m., at the Cappuccine Museum in  Bagnacavallo, the presentation of the book "FAI PER BENE.Come è stato possibile recuperare 1800 opere d'arte dopo l'alluvione al Museo Tramonti di Faenza"*, by M. Tramonti (Faenza, 2024);
• 27 June 2024, 10 a.m., at the ‘L. Dal Pane' library in Castel Bolognese, meeting entitled “L'importanza della prevenzione in archivi e biblioteche : come gestire le emergenze"*** held by the SOS ARCHIVI organisation.

RAVENNA AFTER THE FLOOD

This event is the third of a series of meetings proposed by FAI Delegation of Ravenna and Slow Food Ravenna Aps to understand the risks linked to climate change, the strategies implemented by the bodies in charge, future developments and the contribution of the voluntary world.

Mariangela Vandini, the coordinator of the RESTART project, will also be present to talk about the project and in general about the initiatives carried out in recent years by the Department of Cultural Heritage of the University of Bologna on the subject of protection and prevention of cultural heritage at risk.
