The project

Goals

The project intend to create a complex module where to promote the following goals for the School of Law LLM students (lawyers), PhD candidates, legal practitioners:

• Provide competencies in the use of AI and data analytics for legal students and practitioners
• Promote digital transformation in the conservative legal domain
• Encourage interdisciplinary teaching combining legal and data science methodologies
• Create a more informed and autonomous society in regards to technology and data use.

Objectives

The objectives of the project are to provide data science competencies to understand and apply AI and data analytics in legal work and society; to promote interdisciplinary teaching and create a new generation of legal researchers with data science skills; and to encourage digital transformation in the legal field by enhancing AI transparency. Moreover, central is to create a more informed and autonomous society through legal studies courses that equip individuals with AI literacy skills, addressing the challenges posed by AI, big data, and visualization tools to human rights, autonomy, and decision-making.
