Cultural Heritage: experiences and perspectives in International contexts

The International Conference "Cultural Heritage: experiences and perspectives in International context" will be held on 23rd and 24th January 2020 in Yerevan (Armenia), at the Conference Hall of the Matenadaran Mesrop Masthots Research Institute for Ancient Manuscipts.

The event, organized by the ROCHEMP Center with the support of the Department of Cultural Heritage of the University of Bologna (Italy), the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia and AICS - Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, will involve local, regional and international experts in an exchange of experiences and points of view on international cooperation in the conservation and management of Cultural Heritage, on the training of the different professionals working in the field and how can be involve the public.

The Conference stands as an opportunity for sharing and dialogue among experts in the field, fostering the development of new studies and perspectives for the enhancement of Cultural Heritage as a leading actor for social and economic growth.

The event will end with a round table where guests and public will share considerations and points of view on the topics of the two days.

The Conference "Cultural Heritage: experiences and perspectives in International context" is part of a series of public meetings organized by the ROCHEMP Center, two of which took place on last 17th December, and which will cover different aspects of tangible and intangible Cultural Heritage in the Republic from Armenia.
