This initiative will be divided into twelve meetings of one-and-a-half hours each, held on a monthly basis. The aim is to provide the winners of the AlmaValue call with the opportunity to learn more about specific topics useful for developing their project, increasing their TRL and impact on the market.

The programme features various leading speakers from the national innovation ecosystem, including investment funds, credit institutions, IP and innovation communication experts.

Speaker: Prof. Emanuele Giovanni Corazza, FGM

Full Professor at the University of Bologna (School of Engineering), he was President of the Guglielmo Marconi Foundation and BBS’ founding member. In 2011, he founded the Marconi Institute for Creativity as a joint initiative of the Marconi Foundation and the University of Bologna.

Founder and Managing Partner of Venture Factory, Roberto della Marina is an Operating Partner at Vertis SGR SpA. He worked at the CERN in Geneva and the Olivetti in Ivrea. He is also Adjunct Professor at the University of Trieste.

Shiva Loccisano was Head of the Technological Transfer at the Politecnico di Torino, and member of the Netval council, where he is currently a consultant as Senior Project Manager for the Knowledge Share 2.0. He is a member of the ATTP (Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals) council. He is currently serving as Managing Director of BeHold srl, the holding company that manages shares of the university spin-off at the University of Bologna. He is also managing director of AlmaCube srl and active member of ASTP.

Giorgio Ciron, graduated with honours in Economics and Management of Government and International Organizations (Bocconi University), is currently InnovUp Director, the leading Association in the Italian innovation ecosystem. Moreover, he is an Official of Assolombarda where he coordinates the Startup Town Project that has over 420 associated startups and almost 90 partners. Within Assolombarda, he is also the representative for the Health Group, taking the requests of private hospitals in Lombardy, and the Transport Group.
