Giorgio Dini

Giorgio Dini

Giorgio is a Post-Doctoral researcher at the Department of Economics, University of Bologna. His research explores incentives for the green transition at both micro and macro levels, applying experimental and behavioral lenses. As a young scholar of the Beijer Institute for Ecological Economics, he integrates a multidisciplinary perspective grounded in socio-ecological system thinking. Following a visiting period at Princeton University, he joined the GREEN TIPPING project to contribute to the Field Experiments module.

Jesus Erubiel Ordaz Cuevas

Jesus Erubiel Ordaz Cuevas

Jesus is a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Bologna's department of economics, where he conducts research on identifying the preconditions for social tipping points, focusing on mechanisms supporting voluntary climate action such as inertia, conditional cooperation, and conformism. Jesus’s theoretical frameworks include threshold models and evolutionary game theory. He also uses experimental methods to contrast theoretical predictions of tipping points. 

Esmeralda Fiorito

Esmeralda Fiorito

Esmeralda is a graduate in Economics and Econometrics from Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna. Her research is primarily theory-oriented and lies at the intersection of behavioral and development economics, with a particular focus on poverty, gender, and environmental economics. During her MSc, she developed a strong skillset in both theoretical and applied economics, combining rigorous analytical training with empirical methods. 

Veronica Pizziol

Veronica Pizziol

Veronica is a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Economics at the University of Bologna. She earned her PhD in Economics from IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca. Veronica is part of the "GREEN TIPPING" project, where she leads the online experiments module. Her research interests include Experimental and Behavioral Economics, with a focus on cooperation, prosocial behavior, and norms.

Elena Sestini

Elena Sestini

Elena is a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Department of Economics at the University of Bologna. Her research spans behavioral and experimental economics as well as applied microeconometrics, employing empirical and computational methods, including large language models and NLP techniques. She studies the behavioral mechanisms underlying the energy efficiency gap and the conditions under which individual behavioral change can scale into broader transitions. She contributes to the GREEN TIPPING project by designing and implementing experimental research

Marco Casari

Marco Casari

Marco is senior fellow of the GREEN TIPPING project. He is Professor at the University of Bologna's economics department.

Claudia Forzan

Claudia Forzan

Claudia is currently the project coordinator assistant. In Green tipping she supports the project team in communication activities, meetings and in some administrative and reporting issues.

Ilaria Carbone

Ilaria is the project manager of GREEN TIPPING. She works in the Research Services Unit at the University of Bologna
