NEW: Join GREEN TIPPING!

We are hiring at various seniority levels. Currently, Green Tipping is cueewntly focusing on: i) information-provision survey experiments and ii) laboratory experiments. Future hire(s) will instead focus on field experiments. Current work revolves around the following:

  • Statistical and econometric analysis of experimental data, with possible machine learning applications to identify agents' types 
  • Development and coding of online surveys and lab experiments 
  • Theoretical modelling of social tipping points, using threshold models and/or game theory

The job location is in Bologna, Italy. The positions will be appointed at the Economics Department at University of Bologna.

We are looking for motivated candidates with the following requirements:

  • PhD in either economics, statistics, decision theory, or related fields;
  • Experience in coding and conducting economic experiments online and in the lab (using z-tree-O-tree, Qualtrics);
  • Solid econometrics and quantitative skills
  • Fluency in English (Italian not needed), good presentation and writing skills;
  • Willingness to travel to project meetings and to conferences;
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and diverse environment committed to high-quality research.
  • Desirable: Previous experience with climate change research;
  • Desirable: Game-theoretic modelling experience
