On December 11, 2025, the contract for the construction of an oyster and sabellaria reef at the mouth of the Bevano River was signed.

The project's implementation has been awarded to a temporary consortium comprising Asso Costruzioni S.r.l. (leader), based in Pisa, and Consorzio Stabile Artemide (principal), based in Rome.
Preparatory work continues at the port of Ravenna for the construction of the so-called "stone mattresses," key elements for the next phase of the project. These structures will be placed in the stretch of sea designated for oyster planting, creating natural habitats and strengthening coastal ecosystems.
The installation at sea will take place as soon as weather and sea conditions permit.
