WP8 aimed to strengthen and ensure the future relation between academic and nonacademic Iraqi institutions and ensure the repeatability of the BA courses in other Iraqi HEIs as well as the
WALADU project scheme elsewhere.
Activities related to WP8 were:
- 8.1 Organization of a conference held at the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education to promote the new BA courses in Iraqi HEIs (document 1);
· 8.2 Preparation of the handbook of the WALADU project methodology (document 3);
· 8.3 Internships continuation;
· 8.4 WaLink guidelines, regulations and MoU signed by all the EU and Iraqi HEIs members (link 4 and documents 5-6):
The WALADU Project Team also participated in the 52nd session of the General Conference of AARU hosted by Helwan University and Zagazig University on 21st-23rd March in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, in order to present the activities, goals and results of the project. In addition to these activities, the Dean of the Kufa College of Archaeology realised a one week sustainability mission in Koç University in December 2019. During this activity, the Dean and the Koç University team also disseminated the results of the Waladu project in front of colleagues and students.
