Project abstract

Our farm will have three aim:

  • education;
  • inclusivity;
  • economy.

We will propose a wide range of training activities and employment-oriented experiences (with a main socio-therapeutic goal) that will lead to real possibilities of job placement.

Our internal organization does not develop vertically (hierarchical order) but horizontally; we believe that everyone can sit at an hypotetic round table where you feel free to express yourself and propose your ideas.
Carbon sequestration, the efficient use of water and nutrients allow our agriculture to be in synergy with environmental protection: hydroculture have as strong point the complete recycling of water and fertilizers.
All organic waste produced at the end of each crop cycle (including growing media) will be composted and fed back into a new cycle as compost. It will act as fertilizer for soil crops (ex. orchards and vegetable gardens).

The materials used in the construction of the greenhouses and the structure, such as glass and metal, will have low environmental impact and will be long-lasting to minimize the use of plastic.
