On the 16th of April, Emma Beatrice Farina held a seminar for the course “Archaeology of the Modern and Contemporary Age” taught by Professor Giuliano De Felice at the University of Bari.
She presented the students a literature review of the main contributions on archaeology of contemporary migration, highlighting the varied methodologies and approaches applied to different contexts. The second part of the seminar focused on TheGame project, as Emma presented her PhD project, explaining how she selected case studies and methodological approaches.
The seminar ended with a discussion on the potential of contemporary archaeology, particularly within the Italian academic context.
