Junior Assistant Professor - Department of Management, University of Bologna

Eleonora is Assistant Professor (RTD-a) in Circular Economy and Sustainable Business Models. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Bologna. She has been visiting scholar at the Technical University of Delft (NL). She is a member of the Centre for Sustainability and Climate Change of Bologna Business School. She is involved in H2020 programs on the circularity of plastics and her research focuses on designing, testing, and validating innovative business models at the corporate and value chain levels in the circular economy context.

I graduated with a degree in Health Sciences from HAW Hamburg. At the moment I am working for BIO-PLASTICS EUROPE leading a Work Package with the focus on information, communication and dissemination.

Leader of the Circular Business Models research group – Turku University of Applied Sciences

Annika is a Senior Lecturer and the Leader of the research group on Circular Business Models at the School of Business and Engineering. She holds a PhD in Economics and Business Administration and a M.Sc. in Chem. Eng. from Åbo Akademi University, Finland. Annika is a strong believer of data-driven informative decision making and has expertise in commercializing research-based ideas into innovations.

The research group she leads advances circular business together with companies and develops the teaching of circular economy in national and international networks. At the forefront in the future is to find new solutions for moving from owning products to producing services and a sharing economy.

Graduated in Product and Communication Design at ISIA Faenza, my curiosity for human beings and passion for complex environments made me fall in love with service design. I see design opportunities in everything I experience. At Almacube, I deal with the design and management of human-centred and tech-driven innovation paths, to develop new solutions starting from people's needs or to explore the potential of new technologies.
