Admission criteria, registration form and selection process

The selection procedure is now finalised.

We have already assessed all candidacies and shortlisted the best 30.

We really want to thank all applicants for their time and interest, candidates’ profiles were all very interesting.

Admission is limited to 30 participants who have accomplished the free and open-access Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) The new plastics economy: circular business models and sustainability.

Candidates will be selected based on their background, motivation, and fit with the goals of the program. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sustainability and the future of plastics, as well as a willingness to learn and work collaboratively with other people from around the world. Priority will be given to those candidates who have already concluded the MOOC at the moment of the application submission.

Selection will be an on-going process:

  1. The first round of selection will close on March 31st, 2023, and the results will be communicated by mid-April 2023.
  2. The second round of selection will close on April 30th, 2023, and the results will be communicated by mid-May 2023.

The opening of the different application rounds depends on the number of applications and confirmations of attendance.

General information about attendance

- Attendance certificate will be released.
- Attendance at the summer school does not grant any ECTS.
- No fees are foreseen to apply at the summer school.
- The Summer School will cover the insurance cost for participants while they attend classes/activities of the summer school.
- Costs of travel, board and lodging are borne by the participants.
