How to reach Bologna

By Plane

Through the Guglielmo Marconi International Airport (BLQ), Via Triumvirato, 84 - 40132 Bologna (BO)

The airport is about 6 km far from the central railway station Piazza Maggiore. The best way to reach the city center is by means of the Marconi Express, connecting the airport with the Central Railway Station in 7 minutes.

Another option to reach your hotel from the airport is either by taxi (about 20 minutes and about 20 euros) or by Aerobus (about 20-30 minutes). Aerobus costs 6 euros and runs every 11 minutes. 

By Train

Bologna railway station “Bologna Centrale”,  Piazza Medaglie d'Oro, 2 - 40121 Bologna (BO). The railway station is served by Trenitalia and Italo.

By Car

Bologna is served by two motorways, linking the north and south of the country (A1 and A14). If you wish to reach the city centre from the motorway you need to take the ring-road exit  n°7 direction City Centre. More info about routes and tolls on Autostrade website.
