Blended Intensive Program (BIP) - NANO-HANDS

Are you a Master or PhD student in the natural sciences interested in exploring the nanoworld through hands-on experimentation?
Then apply for this Blended Intensive Program (BIP) jointly offered by the Universities of Bologna (Italy), Chemnitz (Germany), and Babeș-Bolyai (Romania).
This BIP course offers:
• A comprehensive online learning platform introducing the fundamentals of atomic force microscopy and nanoscience
• A one-week on-site laboratory course and social interactions in Bologna, from 7–12 June 2026. The school starts on Sunday 7th June at 18:00 with a Kick-off Dinner.
• Official academic recognition by your home university, awarding 3 or 5 ECTS (CFU) depending on your prior background
• A truly international learning experience: work in multidisciplinary teams with students from partner universities to tackle exciting experimental challenges at the nanoscale
• Erasmus+ funding covering travel and accommodation costs in Bologna
