Assistance for international exchange programmes

Outgoing students

If you are a student with a disability or SLD studying at the University of Bologna and wish to go on an international exchange, we can help you arrange a preliminary contact with the foreign universities of interest, in order to obtain information on the services and exam or teaching adaptations available to you, so that you can make an informed choice.

Remember that at foreign universities you may find a different set-up and services to those you are used to, therefore contacting them before you go is very useful to get a better understanding of how things work.

If you would like information on available exchange programme opportunities, please contact the international relations office of your degree programme and consult the web pages relating to the opportunities available to students to study abroad.

Incoming students

If you are an exchange student with a disability or SLD intending to spend, or already spending, a period of study at the University of Bologna, you can contact us with information on your specific needs and, together, we will assess what exam adaptations can be made and what services can be activated.

At our university, you may find a different set-up and services to those you are used to, therefore contacting us before you come over is very useful to avoid difficulties once you are here.
