The Torre dell’Alto archaeological project is developed under the auspices of the University of Bologna and permits were granted by the Italian Soprintendenza Archeologia, Belle Arti e Paessaggio of the areas of Brindisi, Lecce, and Taranto (MIC|MIC_SABAP-BR-LE|27/04/2021|0002074-P). The excavation at the site is undertaken in synergy with the Portoselvaggio e Palude del Capitano regional Nature Park and the Prehistory Museum of Nardò.
