INCO-Piles Members are going to participate to the virtual European Geosciences Union (vEGU) Conference, presenting works and results from the first year of the project, with special attention to the findings of the first Round Table, held in December 2020.

Two interventions from INCO-Piles Project are included in the vEGU session "Towards an environmentally sustainable transformation of tailings and mine waste: circular economy and future vision".
Dr. A. Guatame Garcia from TU DELFT will present the main challenges in the sampling and characterisation of mining residues for CRMs recovery identified at the first INCO-Piles 2020 Round Table.
Dr. F. Bodenan from BRGM will present how mine waste reuse and reprocessing can be considered an important step for the implementation of the circular economy in Europe, result of recent analyses conducted.
