Access to the HPC infrastructure and S3 geodistributed storage platform for Precision Medicine is restricted and granted exclusively to authorized users within approved research and training projects.
Eligibility
Access is limited to users whose activities are consistent with the objectives of the platform and comply with University regulations. Eligible users include researchers and staff of the University of Bologna, as well as authorized collaborators involved in approved research projects.
Access Principles
Access to the infrastructure is granted on a project basis and subject to formal authorization. Permissions are defined according to the role of the user and the scope of the approved project, and are limited in duration. Resource allocation is managed based on project requirements and system availability. Access rights are subject to periodic review to ensure continued alignment with project scope and authorization.
User Responsibilities
Authorized users are responsible for using the infrastructure exclusively for approved research and training activities, in compliance with applicable information security, data protection, and acceptable use policies. Users must ensure the protection of their access credentials and promptly report any suspected security incidents. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the suspension or revocation of access.
How to Request Access
Access requests must be submitted through the official request forms for HPC and storage services, available in the Request Access section of this website.
